New Holland Parting Ways w/ Shibaura?

New Holland is still using Shibaura (ISM) engines in its line of skid steer loaders up to the L175 model. Therefore they still have a business arrangement with Shibaura even though the compact tractor line is being discontinued. I suspect that New Holland and Shibaura still have agreements relating to spare parts. It's certainly in Shibaura's interest to keep that spare parts business, especially after losing a large segment of their sales.

I suspect Shibaura will continue making that same tractor and just try to sell it under someone else. They have the tooling, the line, etc.. they won't just shut it down and walk away.

I'd happily take back the Shibaura compact over the LS replacement.

Just started looking at compact tractors in 50 hp range. NH was high on the list from previous test drives. Really liked the shibura stuff. Too bad I can not get one now. Willl look elswhere. Wish NH would bring back the Shibura.

Don't run away (yet) they seem to be back - or soon will be, or the rumor has switched - AGAIN, or switched back.... who knows ?
