New Holland Powertrac 75

I have been here long enough not to ask if I should buy this. It starts the whole "what tractor is best" scenario. I would like to take a different approach, I am looking at this tractor (Subject Line). Is there anything that you old farming veterans have to say about this purchase? I really appreciate the wisdom of those who have been there. I am starting a simple farm, a little brush hogging, a little road maintenance, a little tilling, a little orchard in North Texas. Around 75 HP is what I want, probably don't need.

If it's not orange or green, it's a piece of junk. LOL Somebody was going to say it so I figured I'd get it out of the way.
From what I have read I think you will be just fine with that tractor. We are about two weeks out of having a new Boomer 50 here. I liked the the tractor and it seems to be a good machine and the dealer and the dealer's shop seem to be top notch. In reality tractors are machines and machines will break from time to time no matter the paint scheme. I used tractordata.com and compared size, weight, FEL lifting capacity and settled on the closest dealer with a good rep and a decent machine at the best price I could find.

I am not familiar with the Powertrac 75. Are you looking at the PowerStar 75? I don't think you can go wrong with one, it is a fine tractor. I looked at the PowerStar 75 and the WorkMaster 75 side by side. In the end the WM75 worked out better for me. It was comfortable, did everything I wanted it to do, and was $8K cheaper. Also, the PowerStar did not have an option for R4 tires which I really wanted, only R1 tires. That may have changed now.
