I'm looking at buying this local manure spreader. Its a New Holland S676. Can you guys tell me anything about it? I think its approximately 200 bushels? I know to check the sides, the floor, the thickness of the apron chains, condition of the flights, tire condition, beater condition, frame for excessive rust/holes. Am I missing anything else? They are asking 2K obo.
Is this a pretty reliable spreader? I'm looking at replacing a John Deere model 51 ground driven spreader (I have to return it since i borrowed it) and I only spread saw dust with horse apples that is composted pretty well by the time I get to it.
