New Holland TC 18 fuel

Good morning to all. I have a 2000 TC 18 New Holland tractor. I am having trouble with it running. I have cleaned and then replaced the fuel filter. It will run like normal for approximately 45 min or so, just enough time for me to get to the upper flats and start to work in the woods, and it will loose rpm and start spitting and sputtering. a friend suggest bad fuel now, so I was going to drain that and use of deiseal injector cleaner. I am NOT mechanically inclined and am lost in all this. I replaced the batter, fuel cylinoid (twice), regulator last summer, trying to figure out why it was blowing the fuse. that has been resolved w/the regulator over charging the whole system and burring everything out.

Michael, welcome to TBN. How did the filter look? Was it dirty? I'm thinking that you have something in your tank clogging the intake line. I don't know if there is a screen on the line in the tank, but if there is chaff of some type clogging the screen/line, it is limiting fuel.
This system doesn't use a lift pump to feed the injection pump either, so you are dependent on the injection pump to suck the fuel out the top of the tank.

Make sure the fuel tank vent is working. When the vent is plugged on gravity feed systems, the fuel flow slows dramatically.
A quick test is to wait for the problem to occur then loosen the fill cap. If there's an inrush of air and the tractor runs ok, that's the problem.
