The throttle arm on my TC-29D has started moving towards the rear.....lowers the RPM's....took a quick look on how to maybe tighten it but do not see an easy way to get at it...........has anyone else run into this and what is the fix.............guess I should invest in a "shop" manual for it............

thanks

My TC-34DA did this a few months ago. The nut on the side of the throttle had loosened up and not enough friction was applied to throttle. Have read some people have had luck accessing throttle arm by removing the two screws that hold the instrument cluster in and pulling cluster out and could reach it that way. Didn't work for me so I removed the RH cowling that covers the steering wheel assy., this allowed me to tighten the nut on the throttle bolt and add friction to the throttle arm.

Fixed it......

Pulled the instrument cluster and was able to tighten the throttle lever using a 17mm box wrench. Thanks for the heads up.
