Price Check New Holland TC 40 Pricing

I was wondering how this price was compared to what you have seen/paid. Its a 2004 New Holland TC 40 2WD for $12,900, it is brand new and has about 15 hours. Comes with there 2 year warranty. Just the tractor no implements loader etc. Please let me know asap what your opinion is.

Brandon, that price sounds pretty darn good to me. That tractor is a very rare "bird." Maybe the dealer is having a hard time moving it. I can't remember if any member of this forum has bought a 2wd Class III compact before. If all you plan to do with the tractor is plow and mow, then a 2wd will surely do that for you. As long as you are sure you will never want to put a loader on it, I'd say you've found yourself a good deal.

Jim, I will be using it for plowing several food plots, mowing, and grading a few roads with a box blade. The only time I can think of that I would need 4wd is back several months ago when a friend got 2 tons of lime in a buggy and went down threw his food plot a few days after a heavy rain which didn't turn out to well. My MF 231 got stuck and he pulled it out and then he got stuck and it kept going for several hours but we finally got that lime spread /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Some friends of ours have three MF's about 85 horse 2wd with loaders and one big AC thats about 110 hp. If I really needed a loader I could use there's. I was just wondering about that price because it seemed pretty good to me. I am wanting a loader and 4wd and I will be going to a pretty big tractor dealership tomorrow and let you know what I find.
