Hi Folks,
I am a newbie to the forum and farm tractors. I did a search on the forum for my question, but couldn't find the answer. I apologize if this has been answered else where. I am helping a lady by doing some maintenance jobs around her small horse farm.....things are in pretty bad shape. She has a New Holland TC30 tractor, she thinks a 2006 version, but not sure, with the 9X3 gear transmission, and 825 hours on it. There is no owners manual to be found (can't find the PIN/SN to get the correct manual). She has no records for when the last preventive maintenance was done, or what was actually done. So, I am going through and changing all the fluids and filters, and greasing all the fittings. My question is about the transmission/rear axle sump for holding the hydro/transmission fluid. I can find the drain plugs for both the rear axle and the transmission, but find only the fill hole over the rear axle (just behind the seat). Does the TC30, with the 9x3 transmission, have a common sump for the trans/hydro fluid?
Thanks for any help you can give!!
By the way, while working on this tractor, your Forum has been a great source of information.
