Yes checking the solenide was the first thing I checked checked with test light for voltage an had voltage felt it clicking when truning key on an off so the to check more I removed it an watched it moving. So then with a 1/4 drive extention I manually pushed in the pump an felt the rack moving an returning when letting up. But did not trun motorover with out pump in to see if crank was turning. Thanks again guys it still has me puzzeled it one of the most simple set ups for a diesel.
