New Holland TC33D Hydraulic hand control piping to 7308 Loader

I just purchased a 7308 loader for my TC33D. I mounted the control and piped down to the quick connects. This is the diagram I followed. I hooked up and it doesn’t work. I am assuming that I have the metal pipes from the controller hooked up wrong since my brake pedals hit the pipes.

Any input on piping?

1. Yes, the brakes should clear.
2. Did you give it time to clear the air out of the cylinders? They will self bleed the air.
3. Try switching hoses at the quick connects?
If no luck, a photo of what you have would help folks figure it out.

Did you turn the turn the valve (with a flat screwdriver) on the control valve assy/manifold diverter block? It is a square block that hard lines connect to that is under the RH floor board below the hydro pedal. When looking at it from the side you will see a slotted round thing about 5/8" diameter that is on the square block. Turn it one way to allow the loader valve to work, the other way stops the loader from working.

When ever I would remove the FEL, I would turn the valve on the diverter block so no hyd pressure would go to the loader valve.

I will look at that selector switch tonight. I have not had auxiliary hydraulics for the front since owning it. Hoping that is the fix. Thanks for the replies and I will let everyone know if it works.

The Selector Switch was the in the off position. I turned it to the 11 o' clock position and it worked. Unfortunately, I did not get the pipes from the valve to the disconnects right the first time. I moved the hoses on the loader to different disconnects and got it to function properly.

I will update the schematic once I get them switched so the next guy that finds a unicorn 7308 they want to add to the tractor and have to install the valve. They will know what port goes with what pipe and lands on the proper color coated quick connect.

Jake, Glad you have it working. New NHTC33D with FEL owner. Replacing the hydraulic lines for the FEL. New owner mistake - marked all the old lines with a sharpie so I would know where they went. Who knew hydraulic fluid would make Sharpie marks disappear. Did you ever finish your updated schematic. Trying to figure what line from the disconnect goes to what FEL line. Thanks for any help.
