I have a NH TC40S with a Shibaura four cylinder diesel 40 HP engine. The existing factory antifreeze is green. Can I (after flushing) use the orange DEX-COOL ILO the green?
I inadvertently bought the orange by mistake and dutifully while draining and flushing the green, broke the cap seals on the orange anticipating the re-pour. I'm willing to bite the bullet and go back and buy the green if necessary. I can overlook twenty-five bucks worth of possibly wrong antifreeze vs. an expensive engine issue.

Dexcool is coolant for GM vehicles from 1995 to present.Use in your own GM cars/trucks or give/sell it to GM owners.Get some conventional green coolant and mix 50/50 with distilled water for your refill. You may have to go to an auto parts store or the dealer for the old green stuff.Hasn't been used in autos since about 2001.Think old school here!Good Luck!
