New Holland TC40D Manuals?

My father-in-law just bought a TC40D with FEL and 850 hours on the clock. Overall looks to be in well-cared for shape but he'd like to get his hands on owners/repair/parts manuals "just in case".

Are any of these available as pdf format?

New Holland sells the hardcopy Repair Manual for $350, and a CD version for $300. There's also a Parts Catalog for $115 -- I don't know if it's included in the Repair Manual set, but your dealer should be able to tell you. The TC40D Operator's Manual is $35. Note the manuals for a TC40D are different than the DA, make sure you get the right ones.

If you could find someone with the CD version, and your ethics allowed, it's simple enough to make a copy. Or go together with a few fellas on a copy to share.

The Operator's Manuals for both the tractor and the FEL are the most important manuals. The 16LA loader has it's own separate operator's manual. The tractor Operator's Manual even has a full electrical schematic. If you can't find them on eBay, then you could check with your dealer on a purchase.

The Repair Manuals are nice to have. I have a full set and they are very handy. I've answered many questions here on TBN by referring to my manuals. The Illustrated Parts Catalog is no longer of great use since New Holland's site and great dealer sites like Messicks.com and Partspring.com have full parts breakdowns and pricing on their websites.

I think its most important to have printed Operator's Manuals and then secondarily have the Repair Manuals on CD. That would be my preference.
