Loader New Holland TC45DA frontloader problem, won't raise or lower

From the beginning, I began to use the TC45 this morning by moving some dirt with the 16LA frontloader to another spot. everything went well until after I dumped the dirt and lowered the bucket to ground level. At that point the loader would not raise or lower, though the hydraulics seem to be straining the hoses, but the loader acts like it's locked in place at ground level. I can still rotate the bucket in or out but not up and down. I have checked all fluids, stopped and started the tractor again but still have this problem. Never had this problem before or anything like it, The rig is 7 years old. Help!

Assuming your other hydraulic's are functioning I'd say it's probably going to be solved by disconnecting and reconnecting your quick connects to the loader.

.....or more precisely ".......reconnecting your quick connects to the loader". While I was hoping for a response from anyone here, I went out again and more closely inspected everything. I really am getting old, because I had missed a hydraulic male hose fitting that had popped out of its female receptacle. After relieving pressure by cycling the loader joystick with the engine off I reinserted the hose fitting (which popped out again in operation) so I put it back a second time. It seems to be holding now but I suspect that I'll need to replace the fittings on that hose (or that hose entirely) with new ones that will hold under pressure. Don't know why it took 7 years for the fittings to give out since they aren't moving parts and don't really wear. What do you think? And thanks for the comeback Brian.... in any case I think this particular problem is answered and solved.
