Hi guys, I'm new to posting to the forum, but have appreciated reading topics in the past. Thanks. I'm a small hay farmer with additional general utility tractor grading/loading. I have 2004 New Holland TC48da with the factory draft control, FWD and 18L loader with top/tilt/ripper controls in the rear
I just recently had a problem after a reasonable rainstorm when I raised my rear 3pt it never hit the "high point" on the lift and kept cycling the hydraulics to try and continue to raise. The scraper was already at the top (perhaps even too high) I could lower the 3pt lever just a touch and it would stop the cycling of trying to lift the box scraper. Never had this problem before.
I checked the fluid, it was a little low, but not significant. I didn't immediately notice at the time, but I also lost all precision control for up and down. Now when I lower the 3pt controls the slightest amount, the box scraper drops all the way to the ground. I can raise it back up, but again will try to continue lifting as it doesn't recognize it as being lifted. I called my local dealer and they said to adjust the draft control, but this doesn't seem to effect it at all either way.
Any other thoughts or ideas to check? I did replace the hydraulic filter just in case, but it wasn't that old to begin with.
