Looking for some help with a New Holland TN75D tractor. Replacing the clutch and when the tractor was split found several broken pieces in the bottom of the bell housing area. This is a dual clutch tractor. One is for the transmission and one is for the PTO. The question is does the throwout bearing or the long shaft that the 2nd throwout bearing rides on get the retaining clips at the forks? I am getting different answers from different people. Some say none are needed some say just the back. Both forks and parts touching the forks have spots for the clips. The service manual and parts listing i have does not really show if the clips are needed. I am wanting to make sure I have the correct setup before putting the tractor back together. Below are a couple of pics showing the forks with just clips on the back forks and clips on both forks. I can provide more pics if needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
