New Holland TT75A fuel system problems

Replaced the transfer pump this AM and still same thing. I seem to have a restriction somewhere, but can't find it. the dealer is going to work on it this PM.

Hello, I joined this site this morning, hoping to find an answer to my fuel problem with my td75d new holland. It sounds like the same issue you have explained with yours. What did the dealer do to resolve your issue.

I guess this is an old thread, but what I found wrong with my tractor was the screw type hose clamp at the fuel tank had never been tightened from the factory or had "viberated loose". It did not manifest itself until the fuel supply hose aged enough for the motor to start sucking air. Had the fuel tank hinged down so I replaced the fuel line and "tightnd" the hose clamps. Tractor runs-out and works better than ever!

I work for a New Holland and Mahindra dealer in East Texas and we have a lot of customers with TT75A tractors. These are mainly on pipeline mowing crews that put a lot of hard hours on those units. Here lately we have found a lot of injection pumps with rust and gunk in them and they have been removed then rebuilt here local. They present the same symptoms as your tractor and we have been through all the checklist for problem solving. Look at your injection pump and check it. We also have installed an extra inline fuel filter to help in the future.

Having the same problem with my td80d... So frustrating, finally got it started and loaded on my trailer. Praying I don't need a new fuel injector, I'll keep you posted.

I just joined so I'm new. I also have a td80d and it is blowing white smoke at 1500 to 2000 rpms and when i bring it to an idle it will either idle low or die. I put new filters and a new lift pump and bled everthing I can and blew all the lines out. If anyone has an idea or knows whatthe problem is please let me know.

My boss has a NH TN75DA which was doing the same things as you all said, we put on a new lift pump and that didn't cure it. Had the dealer stumped and wouldn't listen to what I was telling them. Ended up putting on a new injection pump and it has worked right ever since according to him. It may still be quitting but he won't tell me because my family runs John Deere and I always give him crap about his New Holland breaking. Hope this helps.

Thanks I actually got it going yesterday! I was afraid I might need a pump but it was sucking air at the first filter that looked like it was bent. I bypassed it and its good as new! Going to get a new filter bracket and put it back on with a new filter.

Glad to help, that tractor made me walk 3 different times, 5 miles each time, I was usually cooled down or to worn out to holler when I'd get back otherwise I might not have a job. The dealer had it at there shop 5 times in 12 hours of use in one month. I don't like New Holland, but mainly that is because of the two tractors he had, this one mainly, it has a terrible cab layout on it, and plus I broke my finger and tore a tendon on my finger ($5000 surgery alone) on his NH tedder because of poor design. But just like John Deere, there's good ones and bad ones that come out of the shop. Hope it doesn't give you any more trouble and years of service.

I would be upset with new Holland too! Mine has been a good tractor with just this one issue. They all have there problems. Seems like some worse than others. Best of luck to ya friend thanks for the help!
