New Holland vs Moblie One oil

Ok,
Thanks to the extensive discussions on this board I've decided to change to a good, (real) synthetic oil for my tractor engine. But I have a lot of New Holland oil left over and it is supposidly a very good 15W40 oil. Even my Kubota dealer said it was excellent and he sold it to me vs Kubota oil. Anyway, should I make the switch later and use up the oil, that could take years and I don't want to make the switch ASAP. Any suggestions, guess I can use it in the cars/ truck? A bit heavy for the Camry I think. thanks, bw

How much is "a lot"?
I just switched to Mobil 1 in the tractor (5W30) and have been running mobil 1 in the vehicles and am very happy with it.
I would not run the 15W in the Camry at all and any vehicles it would depend. My Ford SuperDuty specifaccly calls out for 5W oil due to the overhad cam motor.
A couple of possabilites would be running the NH oil in the warm months and Mobil 1 in the cold months until the NH is gone or
trade the NH dealer the oil for parts such as oil filters, fuel filters, grease, and such. With the trading scenario he's just switching stock, parts for oil. The oil you trade back should be easy to sell to other customers.

You could also do twice as many oil changes and really unload a ton of soot from your engine.

I can't imagine frequent oil changes being a 'bad' thing.. course.. you don't want to blatently throw away a ton of great oil too.

The winter synthetic sounds like a decent compromise.
