New Holland Winter Fix

/ New Holland Winter Fix #12
Let's see how can I explain this easily..... If I had a hat that said New Holland on it and another that was blank which do you suppose would cost more and why?

You do pay for the name on most any product New Holland, John Deere, and so on......

I'm not saying that I agree with the logic but I am saying that's the way it is.

No kidding. You can be as condescending as you like, it doesn't change the facts.

Go ahead and pay more for the NH marked part or accessory if it turns you on. In many cases twice as much.

I've decided from now on to go with name brand oil and hydraulic fluid, and name brand made in USA parts if they're available.

If you think a no-name hydraulic quick coupler at $13.49 with the NH part number on it is better than a USA Parker or Aeroquip at $7.30 then go ahead on it.

That ain't the way it is in either the automotive or aerospace world. In these industries you either sink or swim based on performance, quality, and price. And that includes spares. That doesn't seem to be the case with agricultural equipment, especially CUTs.

Bruce I'm sorry if I struck a nerve and offended you, I meant no harm. You have a New Holland tractor the same as I. The only point that I'm trying to make here is this: You could have purchased a lot more tractor for a lot less dollars. I'm not mentioning any makes, just stating a point. You choose New Holland the same as I did. We both paid a bit more because New Holland makes a quality product and they put their name on it, and stand behind it. That's life in the big city and I don't like it any more than you. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

When you find a way to change all that please let us all know, because I for one would really like the hear the plan.

Gotta run, I'm headed off to install my New Holland toothbar that I paid too much for. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
