New Holland Workmaster 70 Problem

Still having problem where New Holland Workmaster 70 Tractor driveline seems to drag while tractor is in regen. Only lasts about 5 minutes or so. I cannot figure this issue out. Dealer says brakes are only thing that could do this. Brake linkages have been checked and lubricated several times. Drag on driveline ONLY occurs when tractor is in regen!

It was worst before software upgrade but still present during regen.

Not knowing a better answer for you it could just be the nature of the process. I would think it is more of a power loss than a drag on the driveline. I just don't see how regen could produce drag but I can see how it could reduce power. :confused3:

Exactly. There is no electronic control or inputs over any brake or driveline components.

During this event the tractor does not coast when depressing the clutch. Now I am wondering if something could be dragging internally in the transmission, rear differential or even a hydraulic pump problem?

There could be drag in the drivetrain. But that drag will not come and go with regens.
