Thanks for the update, after doing more research, my “initial interpretation” of how to work with an HST was completely backwards. Instead of ‘flooring it’ on the forward pedal, I should have been giving it less pressure to ‘engage’ “1st Gear”...”Like I said, this is my 1st ‘Automatic’...gonna take some getting use to. Even after 20 years, the 1st thing I still want to is grab down between my legs for the Gear Stick.

It’s not the Locking Diff, but Is the Hydro G7.

Only has 10 on it now, and it is the Hydro G7..... Just looking like I need to get my 30-yo Craftsman out of my head and relearn.

when it gets old, many years from now, changing the transmission fluid usually fixes a problem with slipping.

No matter how you cut it this is still just built for mowing. Doing any ground work with it and you will be blowing belts or the transmission.

that's incorrect, the transmission is a Garden Tractor Transmission, designed for ground work, and has a very good reputation for that..

Yulle, Fl.

I wish I could have helped sooner,

I would start here, this is my story, what I found out, and what was actually required to get an actual Garden Tractor from a Husqvarna, My machine cuts ground now and has 244hrs with two transaxle oil changes, etc, I love it now.

This is the entire build, not including the upgrades,

Remember, the transaxle can be rated for "Ground Engagement Work" but for the same durability, and support reasons, the chassis it's bolted on, also needs to be rated for "Ground Engagement Work". The chassis on the GT and TS are the same 12ga, 26lbs pan style chassis origionally developed for the 2006, 17hp YT lawn tractor, and it won't hold up like the c-channel, but you can get ahead of it with chassis bracing. I wish the best for you.
