New Implements at TSC?

I was at my local TSC yesterday looking at buying a tiller. The salesperson told me they were no longer going to carry King Kutter products in 2008. They were going to be carrying a different manfuacturer's product line. She didn't know anything more than that, or who the new manufacturer would be. Anyone know what the story is here?

Do a search in this group. I remember reading a post about this maybe a month ago. If I remember correctly, there will be a new brand carried (can't remember which), but they won't be exclusive. Some TSC's will continue to carry KK gear along with the new brand, and some will only carry specific tools (tillers, brush hogs, etc.) from KK.

According to the salesperson I asked last time I was there, my TSC will continue to carry the KK tillers, but that's all. The harrows, cutters, spreaders, etc. will be from the new line.

The new stuff TSC is carrying in this area is called Farm Force. It looks to be the same quality at KK, and is exactly the same color.

I was finally able to talk to the manager of our local TSC, and she thought that although they would be carrying the Farm Force products, the tillers would still be the KK's.

Hmmm...that explains why I got such a great deal on my KK 7' landscape rake 2 weeks ago ($325)...

Gee I guess that TSC (tough s**t, Charlie!) doesn't have to warranty KK's stuff anymore, Go figure!

My TSC in western New York has been carrying the Farm force brands all year and they look Identical to the King Kutter brand.
