Can't begin to thank all members for all the advice I've gleaned over the past 8 months. We have a John Deere GT245 with a 54" deck that has provided very reliable service for the past 10 years but is at about 740 hours. I seem to recall that's about the life of the Kawasaki engines, so I started looking for a replacement. Where the idea of a tractor popped into my pea brain, I don't know, but after quotes from green, orange and red, I went red. Dealer is only 15 min. North of us and was very, very good. (Thanks MTE Equipment). Only have a little over 5 hours with the FEL to begin with. I'll learn 1 implement at a time. Baptism was a 24" heavy snow fall 2 days after taking delivery of tractor. Used to using the 4 wheeler with plow. My muscle memory still sucks. Getting better with hours. Anyhow, thanks again for all the info. Can you post pics from a cell phone?

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

Thank you all. Fields still way to soft to get into serious trouble, but I've already found a few things to mess with. Back bladed the driveway.
