My wife works next door at the 36 hole golf course (full time) until this new season (part time now). Wanted a full time job. After two weeks of job hunting, she landed a new full time job at the new, one year old (brand new building) not for profit hospital thats only 2.5 miles away. Best pay she ever had with a full package that most people would kill for. She will probably work there until retirement. Down side, the 9 week trips to the Philippines will probably be reducted to two or three week trips for her. I can probably hang up my retired Navy ID card and say goodby to using my Tricare medical package. She gets full medical/dental/vision plus a host of others including retirement, wellness package and disability both short and long term. Best job she ever had. Even in these hard times, opportunity is stll out there. She could walk to the golf course job, now she will have to drive a few miles. Big plus, she won't have to look at her place of employment while doing laundry on her days off (number 3 fairway on the golf course is just outside the window).
