Kioti DK35SE HST
Greetings All - I've been lurking/reading/learning from everyone for quite some time. I finally saved up and purchased a 2011 DK35SE HST with 229hrs this past week. Definitely another blessing to be thankful for on Thanksgiving!

I've identified a few things to replace/address (and my be back with questions), but all in all it looks to be in great shape.

It did NOT come with a bucket or any three point hitch pieces (other than the main lift arms attached to/controlled by the tractor levers).

1) I'd love to find a complete 3 point hitch assembly for a reasonable price. Any suggestions there? Any options to piece it together other than waiting and watching on Ebay? Also, what about an aftermarket/non OEM setup? Would that be possible/recommended?

2) Any suggestions for a reasonable and best all around bucket?

Thanks in advance all! I look forward to continuing to learn, and hopefully become helpful to others myself in due time.

Welcome to TBN and the forum. 3-point hitch assembly - around here you would be waiting forever. So...... you need the anti-sway brackets/limiters. Use Google - I'm sure there are after market mfg for those pieces.

Bucket - probably an OEM bucket will be the easiest fit and find. I'm sure you can find after market mfg's for buckets also on Google.

I ordered some spares of those from Michigan Iron and Equipment. They shipped pretty quick and were reasonable. You can use their parts locator and find what you need under Chassis, Three point link system. Make sure you get all of the items in the system not just the turnbuckle. You'll need the nuts and chain assembly etc. Or search on here for the conversion to the Pin type assembly conversion. You might want to go that route.

I just pieced together a complete 3 point hitch system for mine, which is identical to a CK35. Can you take a photo of what you have? I can point you to what i did. I first priced out some of the factory parts, and they were horrifically expensive. I went with aftermarket parts. It wasn't easy, but it works well.

Hi all - Thanks for the warm welcome and suggestions!

Michigan Iron and Equipment seemed like a good options from all I read, if I decide it's best/worth going to OEM route on the 3pt hitch parts. They are CRAZY expensive (as you noted fatboycowen).

My concern with the aftermarket 3pt hitch is just making sure the lengths of the link arms, etc, are correct.

fatboycown - Thanks! Here's a pic of my DK35hse rear as it is today:

As far as the bucket is concerned, stock/OEM was a 66" quick attach. Any suggestions for the best option there/reasons for or against going bigger?

Thanks all!

First, you'll need someone to measure the different elements. You'll need the lift arm length, leveling rod (side link) lengths, top link length and sway chain length. Someone was nice enough to do this for me, and it worked great. Your tractor is likely a little different than mine in dimension. However, they look about the same. Mine was outfitted about how yours is, when i got it. Except, both the lower pins, where the lift arms attach, were present. In your picture, it looks like the left one is missing, and the other is hanging out. You may need a factory part for that.

Here's what i did.
I used 3 point Hitch Kits for Compact Tractors

Browse the kits. They are reasonably priced. The parts seem to be quality, though, i haven't used them enough to know if they will hold up.

You'll notice that almost all of the side links (the arms that attach the tractor lift points, to the lift arms) are for a different style attachment at the tractor, top. Most tractors seem to have a pin attached to the tractor's lift arm. Ours don't. Ours have an eyelet. You can't put a pin through them (i don't think). It wouldn't work, as the pin would just droop. So, you'll need different side links.

So, here's what i did. I bought lift arms, top link and stabilizer chains from weavers. I bought the parts individually, rather than the kit, since the side links wouldn't work. I dug around for side links that would work, but nothing was perfect. So, i bought these.

I didn't use that exact product, but mine looked identical. See how it has a fork on both ends? That's what you'll need for this type of tractor.

Problem was, they were too long. Second problem was, the fork on the top is too wide. 3rd problem i found was, the hole in the tractor's eyelet is an odd dimension. I am currently using a 5/8" pin there, but the hole in the tractor is closer to .71" dia. A 3/4" pin will not go through.
I solved the too long problem by cutting about 2 inches out of the center, and welding them back together.

If i think of it, i'll get some photos of what i have tomorrow, when it's light.

I hope this helps. I also wonder if anyone knows where i can get pins of the correct diameter to go through the tractor's lift eyelets...

Thanks! That is super helpful. I came across compact tractor parts site, and that did look promising. I'll see if I can find someone/some place that can provide the measurements and go from there. I really don't want to bite the bullet and buy the OEM parts right now.
