Congratulations on the new tractor!

Hello Kioti crew! Thanks to this website, 5 years ago I bought my first compact tractor, a New Holland TC29D that has served me perfectly. It was a great tractor, and did everything that was asked of it. I had a great experience with the New Holland and want to be clear about that. However, it was time to upgrade. I maintain 50 acres, and there have been a few instances where I have needed that little extra hp. Well after hearing from friends how great the Kioti's are built, (and how well they are priced), coupled with the fact that I live 45 minutes away from Little Tractor (largest Kioti dealership in the U.S.), I decided to take a leap of faith and try the DK40SE HST. It was delivered to my house this morning, and they hauled my New Holland away. I have high hopes for this tractor, because it sure looks to be very well built and heavy. The only modifications I have made to the tractor are a toothbar and an Optima battery. I have only driven the tractor for maybe 15 minutes, so I can't really comment yet. Hope to get some seat time this weekend. If anyone that owns this particular tractor has any advice, tricks, etc, please let me know, for I am brand new to the Kioti. Here are some pics!

Congrats and welcome to the pack. I just got my first Kioti too and I love it. It's a CK not a DK, I must admit to drooling over the DK's at the dealer. Either way, so far so good.

I love my DK40se. It is a well designed, well built and highly competent tractor. Nothing touches it for price performance in it's size class.

My advice tip is to get to know all the grease zerks and make up some sort of chart or list to refer to when doing your regular greasing. There are a couple of the little buggers that I keep forgetting (since it is now winter I've even already lost track of which ones:().

Load the tires.

Crawl under the tractor occasionally and make sure everything is tight and greased.

Finally, pat yourself on the back for making the move to the DK and go have fun.

Thanks for all the good advice and warm welcomes to the "pack". If it would just warm up a little here in So. Illinois, I could maybe get out and use it! Hopefully I can get some firewood cut this weekend and get a little seat time. I did load the tires by the way. So far I LOVE this tractor.
