Did 50 hour service on my RTVX1140 yesterday and it was bad. The hyd filters are easy to reach with but the black one was a bear to get off, little room and put on by the big big big strong Kubota gorilla. Plate has to be removed to drain engine oil with 5 bolts, fairly easy but close if the machine isn't lifted, mine wasn't. The drain bolt is a 9/16 which has to use a boxed in wrench to loosen and little Kubota gorilla put it on. The plate closer to the front can be dropped a bit by removing the center bolt which helps some. Now to the engine oil filter.........a bundled group of wires is against it which requires moving to slip oil wrench on the filter and then you have enough room to turn it about a 1/4" at a time and fortunately it was not on so tight but no room for hands and even once removed was difficult to get out due to location and some cross bars. The old 1140 had the oil filter on the side of engine and easy peasy. Anyway, job done and not looking forward to changing that engine oil filter ever again. Grandson told me the machine had 51 hours on it and I didn't check because he and his siblings and wife had driven it often during the 2 months we've had it. After finishing job I saw it said 60 and I knew there was no way it had went from 51 to 60 hours in a one ime drive up mountain and down the street and home................I turned the machine off and turned back on and it has 13 hours and 60 miles!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, it's done now. I'll know to double check the report of a 14 year old now before jumping.
