Effective April 1 thru June 30, 2007 Kubota has initiated thier 35th Anniversary financing and rebate program. Basically 0% for up to 36 months (with no rebate) on most smaller tractor models (not available on L39/48 or Grand L40's and a few others).

Rebates are available on just about every model now, as long as you don't use 0% financing, including the Grand L40 series, although rebates in general are not as much as they were in the previous period. It looks like finance rates have been lowered across the board too. Happy shopping.

Yea, not available on the one I'm interested in...Grrrrrr

I guess the "hot" models are selling as fast as they can build them, so finance discounts are off on these.

Not a problem for me since I am looking at a longer term but I did like the $300 rebate on the L40's. Something is always better than nothing.

Looks like the best programs come up mid-winter. My financing from late December is 0%, no payments for 6 months + $600 rebate on a bx1500 (was applicable to all bx models). Now, the best deal is either 0% for 24 mos. or 6.49 for 72 mos on bx.

I don't get it. On the Kubota website it sayes there is 0% available on B- series, but the local dealer told me this morning that it is not. Do the dealers decide wich one of the options they select for their financing availability? Or he just "forgot to metion"? The reason why I'm asking that it could give me another bargaining tool towards the used unit I'm looking at.

I'm pretty sure the financng doesn't apply to used equipment. However, I am sure one of the dealers who visit here will jump in but if you read the bottom of the Kubota Financing page you will see that
  • Not all rates apply to all sales.
  • Some customers will not qualify.
  • Financing is limited to available dealer inventory.
  • Customer must complete the purchase and take delivery of all financed equipment prior
to the end of the program period.
  • Use of low rate options may affect your purchase price.
  • See your authorized Kubota dealer today for more details and to learn which of these
    options are available to you.
  • Some dealers may not participate.

Used is never given any finance deals. The finance and rebates are designed to move product that is not moving. Obviously the used unit has already moved.

I understand that used units are financed at a much higher rate. What I ment by bargaining tool is if the new one can be had at 0% may be they are more likely to let go of the used one of the same model at a lower price. Who would want to pay the same amout or very close for the used unit because it adds up over the time of the finance period. Oh yes. I later called back the salesman and told him about the findings. He responded: "I grabbed the worng paperwork... 0% is available."

I took the 36 month 0% deal on a BX24 TLB. Not a bad deal. They just delivered the tractor a few minutes ago!
