Hi All. Well my new tractor arrived last night just before dark, was supposed to come at seven better late they say. I have enclosed a couple of pics of it still on the truck a little on the dark side, and some I took today. I have to say after a couple of hours I really like the HST just seems that you have much more control. I hauled some mulch for the wife and moved some dirt for a neighbor. I bought a set of forks with it and the quick-attach is really slick. I have had my eye on a large rock close by for a while but my old tractor would not handle it. So I put the forks on and was on my way to see if I could get it home. My first letdown the 3400 could not budge it. I am still impressed with my new machine and looking forward to many hours in the seat....Jeff

Congrats on tractor. I want to see that rock also. I've moved some major rocks with my B's and even bigger with my previous L3240. This one was with the L.

I will get some pics of the rock tomorrow. I was able to get the forks under it but not able to lift it. Nice looking TC 45.

i bet when you saw that truck pull up with all those tractors you thought to yourself "are all those for me?!":D

instead of the lifting w/fork, you might try the bucket in 4wd slightly excavating forward on the rock approaching it at different angles. once dislodged, you might be able to work with it. simply lifting it, esp if it's embedded might be asking too much even of a larger fel. congrat on a fine looking machine! bb

OK I got some pics of the rock. The problem is I can only come at it one way. It is not stuck in the ground I did move it a little with the forks. I also tried to pull it with a strap but all I did was spin the tires. It is a uphill pull but like I said I can only come at it from one side because of the woods. I think I need a bigger tractor....

What if you back up close to it and strap it to you're 3ph wieghts, then drive froward while lifting the 3ph. Just be careful not to wheelie of course:D
