Well.. With a new fence coming in sometime soon, it will be divide the yard up somewhat, so I was thinking the 38" might be easier to move around in...
I don't mind gas usage either way...
The comparative list you've provided is compelling.. the L130 has some significant advantages.. mulching, elec pto, cruise, less time in seat, quieter engine, "heavier transmission"..
Maybe it makes sense to bump back down to the L118 or L120 for a few hundred beans less..
Other thoughts:
Are the Kohler engines that much better that I should stay up in the L130 area as opposed to an L111, 118, or 120 in B&S form??
Does the L118 have the "full pressue lubrication" with the spin on oil filter like the others?
Is a "serviceable" hydro really important? I'm assuming the L130's isn't and the LT150's is...
Is there a huge difference in deck quality between the L & LT series??
Where would I pick up a used LX? I did a search on JD's site for used gear and in my locale (Miami, FL) there wasn't anything... nearest used stuff is a few hundred miles away.. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
