New L3710 Ordered

My new L3710DT should be delivered on Thursday this week - FINALLY!

I ordered it with loaded Ag tires, LA682 loader and HD round back bucket w/toothbar, Bush Hog SQ720 cutter with slip clutch, Land Pride 6' box blade and a shop manual thrown in for $20,750 delivered.

I really liked this dealer after talking with him and shopping around for a couple months. He seemed to be the most honest and upfront of the 4-5 others I talked to and also gave me a firm price printed out where none of the other dealers offered that.

All the Kubota dealers here in the North-East Georgia area are about the same distance from my home and very close on their pricing but he seemed the most upfront and willing to listen to my needs and give good advice. He had a good selection of new equipment but the only L3710DT on the lot didn't look all that good with the stickers peeling and the striping cracking and coming loose. I asked him how long it had been there and he replied it had been there a little over a year (HONESTY is like Pregnancy - either you are or you aren't!!!). I told him I wasn't interested in that one but if he would get me a "new" one in the crate, we would talk about it. He gave me the same price for a fresh one as the one that had been there and we made the deal.

BTW, All it cost me from my wife was a Carribean Cruise this fall or next spring!

Any comments/opinions/feedback/threats/promises appreciated!

Congratulations! Post pictures and keep us informed of your progress. I've got 30 hours on my L3710HST and my only complaint is not getting enough tractor time.

Yes, Cowboydoc, it is a 4WD. I've got 27 acres here in NE Ga with about a 10 acre meadow along 3 creeks and the balance is wooded and hills, so I figured 4WD was the way to go.

What dealer did you go to. A good dealer is helpful to know about, plus they deserve the praise.

Bill, I went to "The Tractor Place" in Cumming, Ga.
Jerry, the owner, and Jim, the salesman were very helpful and patient, answering all my questions and giving good advice and opinions from their personal experience.
Jerry delivered the tractor yesterday afternoon as promised and exactly as we agreed upon. He did call saying he was hung up at his office and would be running a little late, which I really appreciated. He went over everything on the tractor, aksing me repeatedly if I had any other questions or concerns, without getting in a hurry or rushing me.
I would recommend these folks highly based on my experience thus far.

In my opinion you both got off easy. My JD4300 is going to cost me a horse this fall. Now that is not ALL bad as I get a lot of seat time in preparing the field, clearing some land, etc.
