Mowing New lawn mower.

Howdy guys, I just got a new rig to mow my yard. I figured I didn't want to be underpowered anymore so I went a bit bigger than what most folks would.

Ok here's the real truth. A friend of mine just bought this for his farm and it is now his second smallest. It's an MX230, rated at 190 hp (141) pto. He went with the 230 over the 255 because the injector pump can be turned up to gain more HP on the 230 but the 255 and up is all electronically controlled and much more difficult if not impossible. Anyway I have sat in it and it is nice.

This picture is the machine and it's proud owner. This one also shows his new 30' (maybe 35', I don't remember exactly) cultipacker also.

Unfortunately no, but you can pull the biggst mower you can find and it won't bog the tractor down any.

Talking withtheowner of ths fine machine today he said 190 is the guaranteed minimum, after turning the injector pump up and once it loosens up and breaks itself in it will be around 230 hp.

Seen taht one several times before. Its got about 900 hp and was originally designed to pull a special built 80' cultivator.
