New Lawn Tractor Help

Congrats on the new tractor my friend has the same one wiht the blade. As for the tires i agree that you should probibly just stick to the same ones and find the right weight tire chains will help depending on your suface conditions. I plow all paved surfaces wiht my JD 2210 and i had it come with the tire chains but i took them off becuase i found that if your doing a paved drive its better to have the weighted larger surface area of the tire than the smaller area that the chain would give you to ride on, my tires just kept spinning with them on. But if ice is an issuse go with the chains. But if your driveway is not paved and its gravel, dirt, etc.. the tire chains will help a lot because its a rougher softer surface.

Wait and buy later with more money......Plowing a 200' driveway in Colorado at 1000s of feet of elevation with a lawnmower /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I think you need to take a serious look at what you are trying to accomplish.
