Took delivery of a new JD X739 today ordered Friday Oct 25 - last day of the 0% promotion.
Fast delivery since it was an in-stock unit. It is 60" Auto Connect Deck, which is what I wanted. While I was aware of MSRP and the promotion, my negotiations were based on a final all inclusive / delivered / taxes figure. Since tax rates and local pricing do vary, it's probably easier to say final price net of tax was equivalent to 12.3% off MSRP and included the 0% 60 Months option.

Couple of cell phone pics included, just to prove it happened.:D

Thanks guys, for the comments. Got this from a chain that has 10 stores. What I wanted was not too complicated by wanting a bunch of options. They had one at another store with 1.2 hours on the clock, never sat outside and never demo'd, so I was glad to see the "furry" tires as a sign that whatever happened during that 1.2 hours - at least - no one was spinning the tires.

Just finished what I hope to be the last cut of the season today with the 3320 and will probably just use the Craftsman to trim the tight areas, rather than using the x739 and then have clean all the wet / damp grass off the deck prior to winter lay-up.

Great looking machine and good to hear you got over 10% off MSRP and 0% for 60 months. When talking to my local dealer this past month, he made it seem like they were willing to do one or the other, but they couldn't afford to negotiate much with 0% for 5 years. The new X700 series look a lot better in person than in photos too. You can tell they are a well built machine. They look significantly larger than the last generation 700 series when you see them side by side.

Nice mower congratulations, I think you will find it can trim around a small tree with one pass very well. I really have been happy with the 4x4ws on my x749.

It is certainly much larger and with higher seat than the Craftsman GS6500. I may have to trim a few more lower branches off some of my trees so I can trim around the base without whacking my head.
