I bought a new ck30 in late November. My loader serial numbers are past those listed for the repair. What did Kioti do different to address the new loaders? Honestly mine looks like it just has the bolt on plate (repair kit) already in place. I would think they would have redesigned something.

There has been a redesign which incorporates a separate round torque tube that penetrates the FEL arms and is welded inside and out. If you do not have a separate round torque tube you have the original design. I kinda doubt the kit was already installed (a bit hard to imagine as none of the high volume dealers here on TBN had ever mentioned the kit until last week). You can check if the kit is installed by looking at the trapezoidal torque tube and see if there are about 10-15 bolts all along a lip at the bottom.

Like I said I bought this late November (Wednesday before Thanksgiving to be exact.) The dealer had only had it for a short time. The other CK30s were still in their shipping crates needing assembly.

Looks to me like the old style (somewhat prone to cracks) with the repair kit installed! Some dealer-contributors here on TBN have postulated that the majority of the old loaders have not cracked and most likely never will which is based on their personal experiences. They may be right; as I only own one tractor with a defective loader I can only comment from my experience. On mine one of the ones that have cracked, I have noticed no notable distortion or operational problems what so ever during use, even after I became aware of the cracks. The problem for those of us with the cracks is that they are continuing to travel and the concern is that one day you could have a situation where the torque tube could start to allow excessive movement that might create a safety issues.

As I stated in greater detail in the other ongoing post on loader cracks here on TBN I will state here in a nutshell, I think the repair is mediocre.

It appears from the information you have provided here that Kioti had this kit in production well before Thanksgiving and at least at the dealer from whom you purchased your equipment. So it would further stand to reason that they had it produced weeks if not months before this. I do recall a dealer form Maine who claimed that they had seen some prototype of this last summer and commented that it was coming soon. This then adds insult to injury and seriously raises my ire even further in condemning their customer service or should I say the lack of it. Now they insist that we have to drop everything and hurry off to get their “KIT” installed in warranty within a few weeks of notification or loose or right to do so. The time frame they have dictated for us unfortunate purchasers of their defective product is unreasonable and to expect us to openly welcome this mediocre in warranty repair is unconscionable. Don’t get me wrong, when I am in the right frame of mind I could find many nice things to say about Kioti tractors, but this kind of offensive treatment especially since this protracted loader issue has straggled along for a year, has altered my frame of mind. But my aforementioned goodwill has become completely contradictory by the sheer reckless regard that the Kioti Corporation has for us, the consuming public. I am left with no desire to deal with them any more.

Good luck with your loader. I would suggest that you search TBN for all this threads related to this issue. There are plenty of pictures and descriptions contained within them. Hopefully you will never have a problem with the loader and be content with your purchase.
