Massey Ferguson 2705E
I put something in the Massey forum, but thought I would ask here a few more questions.

I come off of old tractors that were all SAE so my tools are all SAE. I need to buy metric.. and have questions.

What size are the wheel lugs, oil change plugs (there are two), transmission oil drain plug... I measured these but come up with something a bit different than what the dealer says. I don't know standard metric sizes (if they are standard like much of SAE). I get 23mm on the lugs (was told 16.. 😳) and 20mm on the drain plug (was told 19mm). It would seem prudent to have this info in the manual.. but it is not.. (I will write it in when I know!).

Also, the manual shows me an engine ID plate that is clearly for a Shaibaura engine with model #, serial # including date assembled and Made in Japan. My engine ID plate has a serial number, a list number, "Perkins" on it and "assembled USA on it." I have no issue with this being a Perkins Diesel OR an engine made for Perkins but of Shibaura design.. but I would like to know. Having worked in "parts" in the past I know a day will come in the future where knowing this engine information will be important.

Does anyone have any knowledge, links.. information. Since the tractor is brand new, there isn't much out there on the Internet.

As for your plug sizes, I do not know. ButI can provide a bit of cross over size information. These are slightly different but on a 6 sided socket should provide no issues in usage (will not damage the shoulders of the drain plug or the lug nuts/studs.
19mm=3/4”
22mm=7/8”

For most tractor companies, it is not unusual for them to use engines from a important company then assemble the parts in the USA. For example JD used Yanmar engines. At one time JD contracted with Yanmar to build the compact and subcompact tractors (650, 750, 850, 950 and many others were built by Yanmar to JD specs for JD)
It would not surprise me that Massey has done the same. I know Ford did and later NH.
Good luck.
