New Member and John Deere 755 Owner

I just joined after picking up a JD755 to help maintain a piece of property.

First question is where you all source your batteries? This one has been sitting for a while and is completely dead, even after 24+ hours of charging.

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

Ensure that whatever battery you do get can produce the amperage required to start (turn over) the engine. I've always used my JD dealership to source the proper battery, but that's just me.

I have an 855. It uses a group 24 battery and it needs 490+ CCA.Thise batteries are near impossible to get. Even my JD dealer does nor have then as there is little demand for them. I went to NAPA and bought the closest size they had...600 or 650 CCA ..$130
