Yes, it has taken some time but two years after my first posting (4/22/03 bx1500 or bx1800).I’m writing back with feedback. I took the advice many of you gave me and got the bx2200 with FEL. We have had it two years now and have 220 hrs. on it. We have been really happy with it, and all race to get our turn in the seat. With the exception of a broken mower lift arm that my dealer in Alexander, NY replaced under warranty, it has been a good runner. We feel it is a good fit for the kind of things we use it for. The turf tires are fine for 90 percent of the work we do, but sometimes would like some more traction in the dirt and snow. The front tires have had some problems with thorns and a broken belt. For a person that did not think we needed a FEL, I have used it a lot. Landscaping around pond, Move sand and brick for patio, and drive way clean up. For many jobs my old shovel has been replaced. Hopefully over the next few months I can post some my welding projects. Thank for all the good advice.
