Kubota, and JD were 5 - 7k more than Yanmar at the price I was quoted from my dealer. The MX series Kubota's are pretty stripped down too. The LS was just as expensive as the Yanmar and has a Yanmar engine in it. I ended up pulling the trigger on a new Yanmar because I couldn't see paying 2k more for a used 4044R than what I can buy a new Yanmar for.
