I bought a 2009 used in 2010 with 60 hours on it. First thing I did was change all the fluids and filters using genuine Kubota parts and oil (except motor oil which I use only Shell T6 in all my motors). Not hard at all. The only thing that is a potential problem is removing the hydraulic and HST filters. You need to have the bed about mid height in order to get the housing off without prying because the bumper will interfere if you raise the bed to full height. I have found that the easiest way to do this is to remove and replace the hydraulic (if equipped )&HST filters first, then raise the bed by hand and lock it up using the safety bar located on the driver side frame. Then you can access the motor oil filter/dip stick and oil fill port.
I use two automotive jacks to raise the rear end up as high as I can to access the HST reservoir and motor oil drains. Once drained and plug reinstalled, drop it down and refill the oil reservoirs. If yours has the optional hydraulic separate reservoir (mine does), you will also need to drain and refill that one also. The drain plug is right in the center of the back end. Do this at the same time you are changing the filters. You will need the bed raised as high as it will go and then a flexible spout funnel to get the oil back in the reservoir due to tighter clearance between fill port and the bed.
Good luck with your purchase. PM me if you have any questions. I have done all my own maintenance on mine and I have about 650+ hours on it now with no problems. About ready for some new rear tires though.
