I'm 76 years young & too old to mechanic on larger vehicles anymore.. I love the cub Cadets from the mid 80's or so thru the mid 90's or so.. Retired from Chrysler Corporation in 2005. Retired from row crop farming(250 acres) back in 1995.. Got to be much too expensive habit. I bought a model 1811 new in 1984.. Have purchased several more Cub Cadets over the years & love(ed) them all. Currently own 2 2084's, an 1872 & an 1811. Have most of the parts to assemble a 2082.. Need just a few more items for the Kohler M20 to be complete & ready to assemble.
Spent 8 years in the Military during my youth. Attended the University of Alabama but never graduated. Follow the UA Football & Lady's Softball teams.
Hope to learn some things & share some things about Cubs & older Kohler's.
