Satoh Buck
Hi,

I've been reading some of the info on these forums so I finally decided to sign up.
I have a satoh Buck, not sure of the year...some stickers say Mitsubishi some say Satoh. The front logo is the Satoh "S".

It's a diesel 4WD model, runs great. I bought it about 2 years ago for snow removal. Paid $3800 for it, which at the time I felt was a little high but it has since paid for it's self a few times over. It has a blackhawk front loader on it and it did come with a 6 foot john deere finish mower for the rear. I sold the mower for $400 because it was too hard to maneuver around my wife's flower beds.

Last winter the 3 pt hitch stopped raising and thanks to some info on this site I was able to get that working again. The hydraulic fluid and filter were so awful I couldn't believe the thing was even working. I do a lot of work on cars (mostly clasic Cadillacs) but have never worked on a tractor before. This thing, however, has needed almost nothing. It fires up every time even on the coldest days.

Here's a couple pictures:
*I'll post the pics later, says I need at least 5 posts to do it...*

here is a picture of the new face plate and lights I made. The original plastic one was smashed up when I bought it.
*same here...*

I do have some questions but I will post some threads in the appropraite forums when I get some time, mostly around the loader. There is a plate on it that says Model #25 but I can't find anything about the loader by googling blackhawk loader 25 or similar. Would like to replace the fluid for it but am unfamiliar with it.

Thanks.

Thanks guys. Yeah around 2 feet of heavy sticky snow and the little buck handled it like a champ. Really impressed with this little tractor!
