I'm in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This part of the country is somewhat out of my element. I'm a proud Navy veteran and may never adjust to not having an ocean over my shoulder!
I have a John Deere 1026R that was delivered in November 2012. As a service-connected disabled vet I struggle to do many of the things most people take for granted. My thinking was a machine like the 1026R might allow me to overcome some limitations and personal frustrations.
The possibility of being able to landscape, to garden, and to not be dependent on others to fulfill my plans and ideas was appealing. The 1026R was going to be my springboard to independence.
Unfortunately, things don't always go as planned. My 1026R has sat in my garage and only has 2 hours of use. It's a great machine but I've decided I better try to sell it while I can.
