cider maid
New member
hi everybody,
i live on a 136acer farm of which 40 is down to cider tree's which my family (of 4) make our own cider from.
i am the youngest in my family and the one taking over the production of the farm so everything is new for me and hard work. The rest of our farm where possible is grass which we rent for grazing and make hay each year.
all farm work is done on our one much abused tractor...a john deere 2850 which you will soon hear a lot more about.... we brought it second hand 16 years ago and has never had a full service but been fixed with duct tape and string (my two fav things on a farm other than cable ties) when needed. (poor thing)
most of my life is spent thinking of new and inventive ways to fix things with out going and buying the very expensive new part or item!
i love my life (most of the time)
so enough about me ...let the good times roll
