Checking in as a "new" member, but I was actually a member several years ago. Over time I've lost my original user name/password and none of my current e-mails matched anything in the TractorByNet database. So, had to register again. I figured this was going to be a place I would come often, because everytime I do an internet search on a topic I wind up here anyway!
At any rate - hello!
Still piloting the Kubota L3130 I bought about 7 years ago, but its duties have changed. When I first purchased the tractor it was intended to be used in a stable operation on our "ranch". Well, the "ranch" is now a farm and I'm wishing I had a bigger tractor - a MUCH bigger tractor!
But I figure that's what just about everyone wants (a bigger tractor)...
At any rate, the "farm" is being transformed into a vineyard this year and the 'ole tractor is getting quite a work out. Maybe too much of a workout as I blew the seals on the front end loader's bucket a few weeks back. My fault entirely (trying to uproot a rather large tree), but it was kinda neat to see the hydraulic fluid shooting out the sides of the bucket like a shot of NOS on a dragster. Of course the repair bill isn't going to be anything to laugh at... But what the hay - I'm having a blast and that's all that counts!
