Hello from Upstate NY!
I live in upstate NY. I have a 480 acre hobby farm. I have bought a 2005 John Deere 5303 2 wd. tractor with a loader. I'm looking for a few attachments! First I need rear wheel weights!! AND I'm in need of a 3 pt hitch Rotary mower, 6ft. Also looking for a tiller as well as a set of 2 bottom plows, nice 3pt. hitch disc harrow And or a drag harrow. A 3 pt. hitch seed spreader too!! and down the road I'd like a snowblower attachment. I don't farm it. I am putting in food plots! I'd like good used or reasonably priced new equipment. I'll be checking back in from time to time. Again, hello to all the members here. AL

Welcome! I have a similar size Kubota also used primarily for maintaining a 300 acre property and numerous food plots. Before you invest in wheel weights, have you considered filling the rear tires? Depending on what you use to fill them, it can be done for little cost. I did mine myself fairly easily. Of course, your temperatures get much lower there, which would be more of a concern.

Thanks for the replys!! I have considered juiceing the tires but they are radial rear tires and they tell me it is a better idea to use wheel weights ? I priced both around here. It is the same price to go either way. Weights are $800 for 800 lbs. - 400 ea side. juice is $750 (not calicum choloride) I figure if I poke a tire with juice in it I will have to pay again! so I figure weights is the better way to go. Problem with JD is you can't find any other weights that will work except JD weights!!
