Bought a backhoe attachment back in 2004 from a company that is no longer in business. Liberty is the name of the attachment. I have been running it from the hydraulics of my tractor but it became very sluggish and would not lift the with the main cylinder. It sits a lot and is used only once or twice a year. I decided to pop for a PTO pump. I have gone to extensive lengths to plumb the pump to the tank and the controller. When the PTO is engaged the pump circulates the fluid with problems. But when I move the sticks on the controller in any direction the pump seizes and will stall the tractor at idle. It is a back pressure, air lock, mystery. I have tried to bleed the system at the controller, at the cylinders and have bypassed the filter. Nothing relieves the back pressure. Is this problem in the controller, contaminated fluid or a demon has possessed my backhoe and just torments me for fun? Please give me a idea of what I might do besides taking it to a repair shop. Thanks in advance.
