Satoh S-470 Buck
Hello Guys---I own a S-470 Buck with a roto-tiller, purchased it this week. Bill has manuals on the way. Question on the hydraulic lever returning to neutral after you raise the lift.

At times it will go all the way down and the lift. It will hold the lift if you hold the lever in neutral. Seems there was some sort of material placed behind the lever to tighten it up. Will adjusting the linkage help any.:)

Welcome to TBN. Adjustment is probably all that's needed but without seeing it, I am just guessing. You may want to post this in the Satoh/Mitsubishi forum for input from the "Model specific" experts

Welcome Jim. I have a Buck also. If you go to Bill's website, choose Parts, then scroll down to hydraulic controls you will get a page out of a manual. In the top left corner you will see the linkage parts that if adjusted properly will return the control lever to neutral when you are in the lifting mode. My linkage is gone and I just manually move it back to neutral to keep the relief valve from squealing. Is yours 4wd?

Hey Oliver---Finally a Buck owner on board. My Buck is 2WD. I got my manual yesterday from Bill---It has the linkage adjustment rod views in the book. I am going to try and adjust it.---Thanks Guy-----Jim

The Buck is one heck of a tough little tractor. Congrats.
