Welcome Tdawg1960, I have been absent from TractorByNet for a few months now (too busy with my studies), but now that Spring is finally here, the site caught my attention again. You are looking for larger tractors than the compact ones that I have my eye on - so I can't really help with that. However, a good starting point is to find out what dealerships / agric service businesses there are in your local area. Half of the decisions are based on the local area support, the other half is based on your preferences, and 100 % of the decisions will get an opinion from this crowd (it's great, helpful, and entertaining). All the best in the search. My personal view is to stick with what I know (Kubota, John Deere, New Holland and McKormick) and see what is out there used... which are you planning to buy, New or Used ? Do you have a particular budget in mind? Sometimes the NEW tractors have very good package deals and great interest terms on loans... another reason to know your local dealerships. I am looking to do much of the same tasks you describe, but with a 30 HP 4 wd unit. For me, all things being equal, it almost seems like it is starting to come down to color preference ... red, green, orange, blue --- who knows ? All the best in your research and pending purchase.
