Hello Everyone,
I am a new member to TBN but have been reading the forums for the past few months. I have to thank everyone for the abundance of information in the forums which was so useful in conducting my research on which tractor to buy.
My wife and I will be moving to our new home (new to us anyways
on 48 acres in a month. When we made the purchase a month ago we decided we definitely needed a tractor!
The property is composed of approximately an 8 acre lake, 3.5 acres of grass (to mow with finishing mower), 20 acres of pasture and the rest is treed.
I plan to use our tractor with a finishing mower to cut the 3.5 acres, plow the driveway and parking area with a rear blade and the FEL, and rototill the garden with a 72" kodiak rototiller. In the future I think I would like to get a rotary cutter to brushhog the pasture and some trails I want to make in our treed areas. Also would like a box blade to maintain the gravel driveway and parking area.
So....the tractor we purchased is a MF 1635 with FEL. I get the tractor delivered when we get possession of our property in a month and can't wait! In the meantime, I have loved reading the forums on TBN to get my "tractor fix"! Thanks again to everyone!
