new member-new tractor. it's orange

Hi Everyone. I am new to this site. I have been reading it for about two weeks, or so and i found it very informative. I just purchased a tractor after looking for years. I have looked at green, blue, orange and the other orange.
I went to visit a friend in PA, Scranton area, and on a lark went to the other orange dealer and saw a dk35se. It immediately felt right. I loved the size, the very comfortable seat and the space. Everything was just perfectly placed. It has a 351 loader and a 2485 backhoe. I am getting it this weekend. After many years of waiting and dreaming, i just went and did it. I did it almost on a lark. I really liked the dealer, he spent a long time with me and explained everything, even though he knew i was not a local resident. I was looking for something in the 20 hp range. He only showed me the larger tractor when i specificed that i didn't like the rocker foot pedal, i liked the unit's with a seperate forward and reverse, side by side. He then, and only then, showed me the dk35se hydro. I never thought i would spend so much money on something that i really don't need. But, boy, am i excited. (all my friends also) I guess there is something about a salesperson knowing his product, sharing information with enthusiam and just being courteous. It sold me.

(all my friends also) What i did learn from this buying experience is that having a salesperson that knows his product and shares information with enthusiam and is not concerned about the amount of time spent with you is invaluable. Now i need advise on how to operate this thing.

Welcome to TBN and congratulations on your purchase! Blue Orange Green Red, etc. doesn't matter to us (sort of). Of course we all want PICTURES when you tractor arrives and details to help you spend more money to complete your purchase. As you've seen already there's a tremendous amount of expertise on most any subject here on TBN.
Suggest that you add some info to your profile to help us find more things in common besides our love of tractors.
