Tractor
tym 433
Well, on the 7th of last week I finally pulled the trigger and replaced my beloved '54 Ford NAA with a new T433. I can best sum up how I feel by simply saying DUUUUUDE!!!! My only previous experience with a tractor was My N and a Br.-in-laws Mahindra 2615(?) I borrowed about 4 years ago. He loves that tractor but when I finished with it I didn't feel like running down and buying one. I wanted something in the 35 horse range and started off looking at a used Branson 3510 at a nearby Branson/Mahindra dealer. It was, well, used, and kinda hard to look at with all that shiny new stuff all around it.They also had a 4720 HST at what seemed a good price($19950). Both drove nice, but the engines seemed a little loud and the noise from the HST was SO annoying. Next drove to a New Holland/Kioti/TYM dealer some 50+ miles from home. I had looked and been very impressed with NH and Deere some 4 years ago when shopping around but they're a little spendy. Kubota was priced higher than Deere or NH, but I wasn't nearly as impressed by them, and yes I know what an outstanding reputation they have. Looked at a Kioti CK35 for about 10 seconds but there was that T433 right next to it! It's comfortable, roomy, great visibility, powerful, would be a great compensator for those who might have "short" issues, and that CAT has a nice, deep, refined sound that is not to loud or course. I'd never heard of TYM before, but I was very impressed and bought it! Payed $18600+ including 2 hats and some clamp on pallet forks. Financed it thru NH(because of the dealership) at 5.74%. There's always someone who payed half what you just spent, but I'm pretty stoked. My only nitpicks after just 7 hours:
No cup holder(seriously?!)
No tool box
No TYM decal for my truck
It's already filthy and looks to be a b**** to keep clean
Compared to where I've come from, it gets so much done so fast I'm afraid I'll get my projects finished and it will end up sitting for lengthy periods of time. Guess I'll just need to get more creative.

congatulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum.i went through the same stuff before i stepped up.i had an old 8N that was a good machine, however very limited,i bought a brand new NH TC29D,loved the layout, and the loader was very nice, however i was really dissapointed in the engine and trans,no power, and had too many issues with the hydro,so,i sold it,and went green, bought a 4410 JD and absolutely love it.has plenty of power for me,and does everything i need to do.TYN's are just becoming known and for the money and the warranty they have, very nice tractors.have'nt heard anything negative about them.i grew up with farmalls and deere, and i always liked the deere.i did'nt know TYN existed before i bought my deere or i would certainly have given them a look.i had a local Kiote dealer and looked at those, but they had poor dealer support and parts availability was'nt good either.the dealer only had them for about 8 months and got rid of them to sell agco, and soon after he was out of business alltogether.so,tried and true, deere has always been good to me and i have 3 dealers close to me,within 40 mins of driving either way.just made sense to go green ,,,,,,,,,,:D

I've had my 450 for 7 years now with no problems, you won't be disappointed

Looks sharp.

Sometimes I wish I had a little more hp as well as weight and traction. I chose to go small to ensure I was able to get into tight areas in lawns and not tear stuff up with ruts, etc... You'll have to let me know how your machine does in that respect.

myyaz, the jump from about 30 hp to 43 has been an eye opener! I've already sheared the shear pin on my 6ft. mower by running over an old dirt jump my son had built for his quad. I've done this before with my N and it would just stall the tractor. As the mower has a 40 horse trans., I'm going to have to be a little more careful. One of my first jobs was to "dismantle" all those jumps. The T made it easy.
Those big R4's make a small foot print- much less than the ag tires on my much lighter N. Besides, it's pasture and it won't do any worse than what the cows or horses do during the winter. Traction is a problem. I aired down the rear tires and keep my 6ft. box on, but I use 4x4 when doing heavy work. I find that works well in keeping me hooked up but I'll probably be filling the tires someday.
Thus far, I'm very pleased with my new toy.
